Choose a coherent browser environment and understand which fields can change.

Environment profiles

Generate a coherent environment through CDP, then save the returned profile token for another Context. Pages, frames and workers inherit that Context's environment. Generated and imported environments are immutable; change the environment by creating a new Context. Cookies and storage are independent.

For complete examples, follow the Context profile guide.

Environment JSON is a CDP import/export format, not a CLI configuration file or an arbitrary createContext override. Explicit manual imports validate against the installed baseline. Read the current Context profile contract for supported fields and coherence checks.

Profile fields

These groups describe exported observations. Managed Contexts lock environment mutation; the dynamic boundaries below apply to ordinary mutable CDP contexts.
